XML Parser Install Notes

1. The installs do not create desktop icons or runnable programs.
2. For the ActiveX XML Component, the DLL can be found in "C:\Program Files\Chilkat Software Inc\Chilkat XML\...
3. For the ASP XML Component, the DLL can be found in "C:\Program Files\Chilkat Software Inc\ASP XML\...
4. For the .NET XML Class Library, the DLL can be found in "C:\Program Files\Chilkat Software Inc\ChilkatDotNet\...
5. The C++ static libs are distributed as Zip files with no installs. Simply unzip and include the header (.h) files and library (.lib) in your Visual C++ project.
6. The Visual C++ static library is large (18MB) because it contains binaries for all possible runtimes (release single-threaded, debug single-threaded, release multi-threaded, debug multi-threaded, release DLL, debug DLL).
7. The C++ and .NET downloads also contain other Chilkat classes that are not part of the XML Parser, such as Email, Zip Compression, Encryption, etc. These additional classes are not freeware, and licenses will need to be purchased for use beyond a 30-day trial. The Chilkat XML class however, including the encryption and Zip compression features contained within the XML class, is free.
